When we were packing back in Texas, Toni asked me, "Don't you want to take some sweat shirts?" I said, "Naw, I don't need any stinking sweat shirts!"
We arrived in Buena Vista a day early and the park put us in a temporary site. I figured that was wasn't any use in hooking up the water so we just used the MH system. I woke early and decided to get up and make coffee. I couldn't get water since the water pump would turn on, which sounds like a maching gun going off and it would awaken Toni. Now comes the results from the latest "lesson learned". I went outside to get water from the faucet and "OMG" I nearly froze before I could get my water and get back inside!
Making coffee in the morning and being quite at the same time is almost impossible but I was sort of successful. At least getting the coffee made.
People are supposed to get wiser as they grow old but I think I am going the other direction.
Like I mentioned yesterday, we took the wrong route from Pueblo to Bueno Vista. I remembered looking at the map and figured the best route was to go to Colorado Springs on the Interstate and then west. Not for us. The GPS took us on Highway 9. We went over one of the steepest passes I have ever experienced! Our V10 motor home was in low gear and got down to 25 mph. Lovely. It reminded Toni of the movie with Robbin Williams, "RV". If you have never seen it, go rent it.
